Worldwide, spam emails now account for 100 billion emails per day (estimate as at June 2007) or 96.5% of all emails. It is possible for innocent email marketers, such as yourself, to have some of your emails end up in junk. From our experience this could be as high as 10%. Don't stress though, there are things you can do - there are words you may like to avoid:

Experiment and continue checking your campaign statistics to see how you're doing. 20-30% open ratesFor most campaigns the average number of your emails that are actually opened is around 20-30%. This is perfectly normal, and it may take a few days after campaign launch to see 20-30% opened. If you are seeing dramatically less than this, then you may want to read 10% may end up in junk above.
