How to resize photos for email and web

Windows XP

If you are using Windows XP, Microsoft has a program that can handle this quickly and easily. Folow the steps below:

1. Download ImageResizer from Microsoft website
    
2. Choose "Run" to install the program immediately. You can leave the default values and click "Next" until installation is complete.
    
3. Now you can simply right click on one or more photos, and click "Resize Pictures" (shown below)
   
   
    
4. Now choose your size. In this example, we are using a custom size 300x300 for web, but a good size for email is 1024x768 (shown below)
   
   
    
5. Now simply click "OK", and you will notice that duplicate photos have been created in your folder. They will be named something like "Photo1 (300x300).jpg". Good luck!
